Beef & Bean Chili (Slow Cooker)

This mildly sweet chili is the perfect go to food to chase away those winter chills.
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
1 can light red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can campbell’s pork and beans**
1 each onion, diced
1 each green bell pepper, diced
1 can Diced tomato
1 clove garlic, minced
1 package McCormick original mild chili mix, *or see Homemade Taco seasoning mix recipe
1 can tomato paste (6 oz.)
If you like spicy chili, add 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper and a dash or two of red pepper flakes.

Add all ingredients into crockpot, stir until well blended, cover and cook on slow 8 – 10 hours, or on high 4-5 hours. Do stir occasionally.
Mixture will be thick, but will thin during cooking.
Serving suggestion:
Top with shredded cheddar cheese
