I murdered

Alone
Suicidal

I pieced myself together
Reconditioned each cell,
Nurtured every bruise,
Revealed each and every scar

Truths exposed
Pain subsides
Feelings return

With each new day
I relearn to love

I relearn to embrace

Full of empathy
Forgiveness
Love

Birthed from the darkness of your shadow
Grown from the ashes of grief and remorse
I finally found who I was meant to be
